The college also trained the students for GATE and Govt. jobs. External experts are engaged to improve Aptitude, Group Discussion, Technical, HR, Mock Interviews of Final Year students throughout the year. Company specific mock tests are also held regularly.

Selection Procedure adopted by the recruiters

Generally the recruiters follow the following selection procedure for recruitment:

  2. Second Step - Aptitude and/or Technical Test – Written / Online
  3. Third Step – Group Discussion
  4. Fourth Step – Technical Interview
  5. Fifth Step – HR Interview
Hackathons
  • A hackathon (also known as a hack day, hackfest, datathon or codefest) is a design sprint-like event, in which computer programmers and others are involved in development of some software or hardware.
  • In our college, we encourage as well as guide our students to participate in various Hackathons. Till date, our students reached the different levels in several Hackathons in national level.
  • Almost all the big corporate organize hackathons for the students. Through these hackathons, students can get pre-placement offers / internship opportunities much before the real campus season starts. Our students regularly participate in TCS Codevita, TCS Enginex, Infosys HackwithInfy, InfyTQ Certification, Cognizant Hackathon, Google Hackathon and so on.
Institute Incubation Cell (IIC)

Some students have inherent quality for entrepreneurship and they want to be a job giver rather than job seeker. To tap this quality IIC has been set up in our college by formulating policy as per the guidelines of NISP-2019, issued by MHRD (now MoE). The Cell motivates the students for entrepreneurships, start-ups and innovations. Professionals from Industry, Academia and Alumni are the members of this Cell. Members from Industry and Academia are invited to interact with the students. Workshops, mentoring and talks by industry experts are held regularly. Based on the aptitude of the students, they are handpicked and imparted special and other assistance. Response received from the students in this regard is very encouraging. So far few students opted for start-ups through our help and mentoring.

Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC)

Aim of this Cell is to increase the industry reach of our college. The Cell consists of all HODs and members from Industry and Academia. Joint ventures of Industry – Academia Collaborations are looked after by this Cell. Regularly industry interactions are held through seminars / webinars etc. Through these events students come to know what are the industry expectations from them. Industry inputs are also taken for preparing syllabi.
